So this is it. I’m officially making this official. I can now call myself a freelance graphic designer (and you can call me that, too!). After almost 10 years of doing design, I’m ready to venture out solely on my own. But… I’ll still need all of you to help! Spread the word. Shout it from the rooftops. I will be shamelessly promoting myself over the next year or more to build up clients.
Some of you also might start seeing emails from me about critiques. A fellow friend and freelancer did this when she started out and she got some great feedback. You guys will be like my new co-workers, only not really and we won’t be sitting in the same room. Either way, I appreciate anyone who might be able to take time out to respond with feedback.
It will be a strange transition from being surrounded by fellow designers to working from home in a solo environment, so anyone who’s experienced this before is welcome to send me tips and pointers!
I do not have any tips or pointers but you put together a design for us a few years ago that was great and creative. I have seen your work since and it has evolved to even greater things. I definitely reccomend Kelly!
And you won’t have to worry about us dropping by before 10 am.
