lucky laundry logo design

A local entrepreneur asked if I would create a logo for their new business adventure. They were opening a laundromat that was more than your typical washing and drying laundry facility. This laundromat includes an area lined with washer and dryer machines partitioned off by a wall and 2-way mirrored glass. On the opposite side of the wall is a fully-manned bar with TV and gaming area.

My job was to create a logo that was straight-forward and instantly conveyed what was inside. I made sure the name was the main focus of the logo and the elements of what is offered is written in the circle. The mark itself is meant to look like a poker chip.

PHASE 1 - DESIGN CONCEPTS

Step one is to meet with the client to get a feel for what they want in a logo.

Sure, I could come up with a logo for your business that looks pretty, but wouldn’t it be more effective if I used your input to make that logo more impactful? The hope is that this will be the face of your business. It’s the first thing people notice when they search for you online. You’ll notice above that there were many variations of this logo before we finally landed on “the one”.

This mark is so much more than something that looks aesthetic. It’s the foundation of your company.
